Somehow – SOMEHOW – it’s almost December and ALL I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS IS A CRYPTID is hitting shelves in a week! This year has been a whirlwind and November somehow snuck past me.
With as busy as things have been it feels like a good time to update the website and let everyone know what’s coming out when.
ALL I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS IS A CRYPTID comes out 2-December (a week from today) and I’m super excited to see how you like it. It was very fun to write a book set in my home stomping grounds of the Pacific coast. Writing a snarky female character was a blast. Hopefully you’ll enjoy it to. (Books2Read Link)
ALL I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS IS A MERMAID is the 2025 release and that’s going to my editor in April. The cover will be yellow. For the dedicated collectors of the series that means the covers will be blue, pink, purple, green, and yellow on your shelf. Book 6 in the series will be orange. Yes, that’s right, you’ll have a full rainbow of bi leads in paranormal holiday romances for your shelves.
FOR EVERY ACTION is Fleet of Malik #3 and due to my editor by the end of January. If you’ve been following me on BlueSky you’ll see the hashtag #FEA. This wraps up the opening trilogy in the Malik System. Several eagle-eyed readers have guessed who the leads are, but I will confirm Hermione Marshall is one of them.
Who is the hero? I promise, it’s someone you’ve been dying to see.
The release date for FOR EVERY ACTION is fluid because it’s a larger book and will require edits. I’m expecting it to be up for pre-order by late 2025 and in your hands by spring of 2026.
Meanwhile, my agent is shopping a new sci-fi adventure to some new editors and she’s asked me to write a Romantasy for her to pitch so that’s in the works as well. I don’t have a title and I only the vaguest idea of an outline, but keep your eyes open for hints on social media to see what becomes of it.
That’s the wrap up for the year!
December will be all about ALL I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS IS A CRYPTID and spending some quality time with my family.
Happy Thanksgiving and may your December be merry and bright!
